Looking Ahead:

The most recent change at CREW is the name change to Lamoille Area Recreational Center (LARC). This name change reflects the way things are moving ahead at the facility. While we still embody what CREW stands for (Community, Recreation, Exercise and Wellness) LARC more accurately reflects who we are and what we are here for. We are here for all of Lamoille County to provide a community rec facility for everyone.

In the near future we are working towards the following projects:

Completion of the exterior parking area including building a large turnaround near the front door, a gravel driveway, more lights, more grass, flowers and plants.

We are looking into building a basketball court to the side of the building that will be open to the public and have lights for night play!

Lamoille Area Hockey Association is gearing up for its first season of play in the fall of 2006. A group of dedicated parents identified the need and moved ahead to form a new youth hockey organization for the youth of Lamoille County. Youth from ages 4 through 14 will have the opportunity to play organized hockey now during the summer and winter seasons. See www.lamoillehockey.com for more details.
